The clocks ticks along.
One moment of my life is gone,
Tomorrow will I be awake, when
Tomorrow there is only sundown.
Bemused by the possibilities
Of the un-foretold, unseen
Chances of a glorious sunrise,
Marred by a murky evening.
I wake up to see that
The sun is asleep;
Pondering and wondering on
What to do when everything's night.
I settle upon the fact, that
I'm the sun, I'm the light.
Now, the clock starts
To tick the chimes of good will.
As bright shines the light,
On every door and window-sill.
Today I've woken up
Into the dreams of reality.
Away from being conformed.
Away from the delusional superiority.
Now, I've found the answer
To all my dreams, the
Words I hear are clear in my
Dreams incoherent screams.
They were all telling me one thing.
They were all trying to wake me up.
Now, they breathe a sigh of relief
When I say I'm awake, I'm up.
I'm alive.
