In twists and turns, I'm lost
Alone and broke in biting frost.
A man walks up and says-
This is the way.
I trust him because,
I've nothing else to say.
I won't lead you- he says
And takes my hand.
I will walk with you,
Till the very last bend.
I consent and we walk, hand in hand.
Now, everything I look seems so grand.
With blind eyes now,
I can see the light.
One hand in another
Brought back my sight.
I can see the sun now in the night,
Every path I take now is right.
After the last curve,
I emerge out glowing.
The place is full of people,
And a pleasant wind blowing.
I feel for a familiar hand,
But I only feel air.
Where is my friend?
Oh, he is there!
Behind all the crowd,
He stands, waving.
I wave back to tell him,
I want to thank him.
He bows and departs,
Leaving a memory behind.
Even to this day by which,
I cherish and remember him.
Alone and broke in biting frost.
A man walks up and says-
This is the way.
I trust him because,
I've nothing else to say.
I won't lead you- he says
And takes my hand.
I will walk with you,
Till the very last bend.
I consent and we walk, hand in hand.
Now, everything I look seems so grand.
With blind eyes now,
I can see the light.
One hand in another
Brought back my sight.
I can see the sun now in the night,
Every path I take now is right.
After the last curve,
I emerge out glowing.
The place is full of people,
And a pleasant wind blowing.
I feel for a familiar hand,
But I only feel air.
Where is my friend?
Oh, he is there!
Behind all the crowd,

Leaving a memory behind.
Even to this day by which,
I cherish and remember him.
