To the joy of today

Hear my heart, speak words of love,
And know not what even a word may mean.
As I speak, I dream of times in a cove
I spent wondering about a world in green.

Love and nature, the two things that bind
Me to joy, to un-sorrowful melody.
Give me more time, to have thoughts in my mind,
Staring at beauty, I lose my memory.

Few things that rhyme that makes one cry.
Few others cry with tears held by sorrow.
Of these words, I can say nothing but sigh
To the tunes that ring the bell for morrow.

Forever into the future, they'll sing their tunes
And make us sing and dance in sweet wonder.
They'll make us forget our past, bury them in runes
To the joy of today, let's now surrender.
