Sweet Rigel

Whither will you take my vessel,
I wish to land on Rigel's shores.
And see her rise above the sun,
To the east where every dawn begun.
See her colorful tears and smile
Reassured of the early sky.
Blue and red and golden- glow
Her hair caught in the cosmic flow.

Darling of the sky you are,
Sweet are your shores i'm sure.
Before I close my eyes can I
Just to see you, look to the sky.
You haunt my sweetest dreams, Oh Rigel,
You are the prism to my unchanging dream.
Further than old Sirius you are,
But your colors, his light can never mar!

Mental note: Don't read poems from a scientific perspective.

I couldn't sleep last night.

Although this was a good poem!
